Return Policy

We charge a 25% restocking fee for regular merchandise orders. Returns must be authorized, unused and in resalable condition.

Due to the nature of personalized items, we do not accept returns on custom products unless there is an error on our part. In this case, we will offer a replacement. Once a personalized order is in production, the order cannot be changed or cancelled.

Shipping Policy

Standard handling time is estimated at 3-5 business days for small orders and longer for bulk orders. Shipping times vary and are separate from handling times. Please insure that your order will reach you in time for your event or project or other requirements. Please note that shipping rates within the shopping cart checkout are estimated. We will notify you before we process your order is there is a change in actual shipping charges

We utilize advanced shipping procedures, materials and labeling with all our orders to ensure accurate and safe delivery. We offer one of the fastest handling times in the industry. Once shipped we are NOT responsible for lost, late, stolen or misdirected mail. It is the customers responsibility that the shipping address provided is accurate and the destination is secure. Most orders will arrive within 3-10 business days from the ship date. This is an estimated average provided to us by the United States Postal Service and is no guarantee. Return shipments are subject to redelivery fees.

You may have the option of upgrading your shipping to Express Mail® if you require tracking.

Once an order is shipped we do not guarantee shipping services and do not issue refunds due to shipping delays. 

International Orders

We ship worldwide. For shipments outside of the United States, please contact us at sales@idtags.com for a quote. Please include full product details, item specifics and quantities requested. Once we receive your order, we will send you an invoice, which will include shipping.

Dog Tag Formatting

By default the text on your dog tags will be left justified. This is the standard military format. Some text on dog tags could be covered by the dog tag silencer. This is normal. By special request we can do other formats, but must be alerted at or before the time of order (a fee may apply). Once an order is submitted it is queued for embossing and once it is in production it cannot be changed.

Some characters are more defined than others. Embossing and debossing is a standard procedure in producing tags for the military.

Communication

We frequently contact our buyers for more information, suggestions or general questions. To avoid delays, please respond to any inquiries as soon as possible. Please set your email program to accept all emails from IDTAGS.com. In the event that we can't contact you, we reserve the right to cancel the order or make modifications to your order.

 

 

Credit Card Authorization

By placing your order, you are authorizing IDTAGS.COM to charge your credit card for the merchandise you have selected. You also state that you are the legal account holder of the credit card used. We may require a signed credit card authorization form for larger purchases. During checkout the shopping cart will validate your card against the credit card billing address and the billing address submitted on the order form. This is a security feature we have enabled to protect our customers. GI Dog Tags is committed to protecting your privacy. We will not sell or disclose any information that identifies you to a third party period. We may use the information we collect to periodically notify you about new services or special offers we think you'll find valuable. IDTAGS.COM does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.

Orders are shipped after 10 days and once payment has cleared bank. Returned checks are subject to a $25 return check fee.
